These Terms govern your access to and use of Managend. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by them.

Who we are

Managend is a workforce management platform that helps businesses manage employees, shifts, attendance, timesheets and workplace locations. These Terms are a contract between you (or the business you represent) and Managend.

Accepting these terms

By registering for an account, accessing, or using Managend, you confirm that:

  • — You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract
  • — If registering on behalf of a company, you have authority to bind that company
  • — You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use Managend.

The service

Managend provides tools for:

  • — Employee and workplace management
  • — Shift scheduling and rota planning
  • — Clock-in / clock-out attendance tracking
  • — Timesheet generation and reporting
  • — Work requests and approvals

We may add, modify, or remove features over time as the product evolves. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that affect how you use the platform.

Accounts and security

Your responsibilities

  • — Keep your login credentials confidential
  • — Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • — Ensure information you provide is accurate and kept up to date
  • — Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

Subscriptions and billing

Managend is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree that:

  • — Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, per your chosen plan)
  • — Payments are processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your card details
  • — Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • — You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • — Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law

We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • — Use Managend for any unlawful purpose or in violation of employment law
  • — Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another organization's data
  • — Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
  • — Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
  • — Use the platform to store or transmit false, misleading, or fraudulent employee data

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

Your data and responsibilities as an employer

As the organization using Managend to manage your employees, you are responsible for:

  • — Ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and process your employees' data through the platform
  • — Complying with applicable employment, payroll, and data protection law in your jurisdiction
  • — Informing your employees that their attendance and location data is collected via Managend

Managend acts as a data processor for the operational data you input into the platform. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle this data.

Intellectual property

Managend, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is the property of Managend and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for your internal business purposes for the duration of your subscription. You retain ownership of the data you input into the platform (employee records, schedules, timesheets, and similar content).

Service availability

We aim to keep Managend available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to schedule planned maintenance outside of typical business hours and to notify users in advance where possible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Managend is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or engage in conduct that harms the platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to use Managend ends immediately, and your data will be handled according to the retention terms described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify users via email or an in-app notification. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Managend after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Managend will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
